Collect documents from Teamcenter using defined rules

A selected Teamcenter object provides the starting point. PLM Data Collector follows the relationships and selection rules defined for the job. It assembles documents and metadata for subsequent use.

The product structure becomes a job-specific document collection for output management with Output Suite.

Selection aligned with your data model

Agreed rules determine which objects and documents are included. Product structure relationships, document types, and associated attributes can each serve different purposes.

Collection is aligned with the Teamcenter data model and business process. This provides a reusable foundation for similar jobs.

Export documents and metadata together

Alongside file export, the intended metadata is included and output information is calculated. File naming can also be aligned with the target process. Subsequent steps receive files together with the information needed for marking or delivery.

Collection uses the intended Teamcenter access context. Selection rules and access rights are aligned with the use case during setup.

Combine collection and preparation

The collector provides content. Document Workers are available for subsequent PDF merging, marking, and packaging. The output process determines which steps follow.

Collection results can be reviewed using the selected documents, metadata, and messages. This allows setup to be validated against representative product structures.

Integrate with existing workflows

PLM Data Collector is part of the Processing Workers family and can also be integrated with connected third-party systems. Windows, Linux, and containerised environments are possible; delivery is aligned with the Teamcenter connection and target environment.
