Output starts where the document is created
The plugin brings job initiation and output options into the engineering environment. The NX document, user context, and output requirements are passed to the output process together.
Teamcenter-managed mode: context stays connected
In Teamcenter-managed mode, the job retains the user, document, and PLM context. Central environment management keeps the integration consistent across workstations.
NX native mode: transfer files securely
NX native mode can also send documents directly to Output Service. Managed and file-based engineering processes use the same central output path.
Configurable output through an established entry point
The dialog is designed for installation-specific output options. Depending on the project, it can be introduced as an additional command or anchored to an established NX action such as the standard plot dialog.
The plugin integrates with Windows-based NX workstations. Release-specific compatibility matrices define supported combinations of NX, Teamcenter, and Output Suite.
Licensing requirements for the NX integration
The customer-specific .NET extension is compiled by Syncware. The customer must provide an appropriate NX Open Author licence for .NET for customer-side signing. If the extension is not signed this way, the Author licence must be available in the runtime environment. In addition, all NX capabilities used by the plugin must be licensed in the customer’s runtime environment.
The required Siemens licences are not included in Syncware’s scope of supply. For binding information about the licence configuration required in a specific environment, contact Siemens or an authorised Siemens partner.
