Processing Workers are the specialised processing components of Output Suite. PLM Data Collector collects documents and metadata from Teamcenter. Document Workers prepare supplied files for output.
The choice follows your process: a job can collect PLM content and then process it. When files are already available, processing starts directly with the intended document functions.
Connect coordination and execution
Processing Hub coordinates the intended steps. Each worker performs its task and returns the result to the workflow. Shared foundations for communication and status reporting connect the specialised capabilities to the platform.
Capacity matched to the task
Document collection, conversion, and packaging place different demands on processing. Workers can be sized for their particular task. Additional processing capacity can be provided where it is needed.
During rollout, the required functions, connections, and output checks are defined together. This helps assess jobs and adapt the workflow later.
Connect custom applications
MES, ERP, and custom clients use the public Output Service API to start jobs, follow their status, and retrieve results. The workers that execute the job are selected within the processing workflow.
Designed for Windows, Linux, and containers
Workers can be delivered for Windows, Linux, and containerised environments. Delivery is aligned with the function and target platform. PLM Data Collector can also be integrated with connected third-party systems.
