Connect the steps your process needs

Processing Hub coordinates multi-step processing within Output Suite. It connects the job with the intended tasks and their results. Specialised Processing Workers carry out the work.

Coordination and execution have distinct responsibilities: the hub organises the workflow; a worker collects PLM content, merges PDFs, or creates a ZIP archive, for example.

Turn individual capabilities into a workflow

Output Service hands the job to the intended processing workflow. Depending on the task, it uses PLM Data Collector and selected Document Workers.

One workflow might collect documents from Teamcenter, merge PDFs, and mark the result. Another bundles files that have already been provided. The choice and order of steps are tailored to the output task.

Plan capacity for each processing step

Execution is separate from coordination. Workers can therefore be operated according to their task and document volume. Conversion can receive dedicated capacity while marking and packaging are sized independently.

Additional processing steps are integrated as part of the specific solution. Custom enterprise applications start their jobs through the public Output Service interface.

Assess processing and results together

Jobs and individual steps provide status information that helps explain the workflow. Acceptance also includes the generated files and messages. Technical progress and the actual output are considered together.

Deployment aligns the required workers, their connections, and the intended checks. Processing Hub is designed for Windows, Linux, and containerised environments; delivery follows the target platform.
